  • Personal Contact Information: Name, phone number, and email address collected during registration or authentication (via Email OTP or Google Sign-In) to verify your account and coordinate scrap pickups.
  • Pickup Address & Location Information: Street address, city, pincode, and precise/approximate GPS device location (requested with your consent) to enable our doorstep pickup executives to locate your premises.
  • Photos and Media: Images of scrap materials, appliances, or used items that you capture using your device camera or upload from your gallery to receive pricing quotes or list items for sale.
  • Transaction & Payment Details: Details necessary to remit scrap sale proceeds to you (such as UPI ID or bank account details), securely processed by regulated payment gateways.
  • Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, network status, and crash logs to ensure app reliability and prevent fraudulent activity.

2. Android Device Permissions We Request

To provide core marketplace and pickup functionality, Vibblo requests the following device permissions:

  • Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used strictly to take real-time photos of scrap items and used goods you wish to sell.
  • Storage / Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Used to upload item photos and save digital receipt invoices.
  • Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Used to detect your current pickup address accurately.
  • Network & Internet (INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to communicate with our servers, fetch real-time scrap market rates, and check network availability.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, dispatch, and fulfill doorstep scrap collection requests.
  • To provide transparent, real-time scrap market valuation rates.
  • To process instant payments via UPI or bank transfers upon pickup completion.
  • To facilitate customer support via WhatsApp, phone, or email.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.

4. Third-Party Services & Links

Vibblo integrates with trusted third-party providers:

  • Google Services & Chrome Custom Tabs: For secure authentication and map directions.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): To provide 1-tap customer chat support upon user initiation.
  • Payment Gateways: To facilitate instant UPI payouts.

5. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) to protect your data in transit and at rest. We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations.

6. Account & Data Deletion Rights

You have the right to access, update, or permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. To request data deletion, please contact us at support@vibblo.app. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

7. Children's Privacy

Vibblo does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
